Man arrested for killing woman after unsuccessful suicide pact

El titulo suena a el típico caso de "eh... pensandolo bien mejor tu primero..." pero leyendo la nota se aclara un poco:

FUJINOMIYA, Shizuoka -- A shop employee has been arrested for killing a woman he became acquainted with through an Internet site after an unsuccessful suicide pact, police said Saturday.

Tsutomu Hori, 34, a laundry employee from Higashi Osaka, is accused of homicide at the victim's request. Police are questioning him over his arrangement with the woman to die together.

Hori pumped exhaust gas through a hose into a car parked on a Shizuoka Prefecture mountain in late September in a bid to poison himself and Saori Nakamura, 21, a nursing school student, according to investigators.

Nakamura died while Hori was found unconscious in the car by a local resident who happened to pass the vehicle.

Hori was rushed to hospital and was arrested after he regained consciousness and recovered from the poisoning. (Mainichi Shimbun, Japan, Oct. 2, 2004)
