Kevin Carter, 42, of Detroit, hair stylist who created this hair design, works at Salon Jacqueline in Southfield. Carter has been designing fantasy hair for the past 9 years. "I am creating hair styles that are over the top. These hair styles are beyond avant-garde," said Carter. It's about exposure, art and, says David Humphries, the creator of Hair Wars, "entertainment."
