(just kidding L. ) (No I am not, fuimos en un dia feriado... I still have nightmares about it...)

109 department store in Shibuya. A swarming district of fashion boutiques, restaurants and clubs built around the Western hub of Tokyo's major train lines, Shibuya hosts millions of youngsters each year, who come to shop, eat and play. Lingerie and cosmetics for pre-pubescents are worrying enough for many parents, but the surrounding district also incubates hundreds of massage parlors, flesh joints and porno companies, part of a booming sex industry that is always hungry for young flesh.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

On April 7, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police arrested Hideka Tada, age 38, who, writing for Dojinsha Co. under the pen name "Hideki Nonomura" has been acclaimed for his famous SM cartoons in which adolescent females with enormous breasts undergo acts of humiliation similar to the one above. Tada, it seems, wasn't content merely to imagine such activities, but wanted to experience the real thing before turning to his sketchpad.

Miss A, whose testimony appears above, stands a petite 155 centimeters in height and is described as a "beauty." She had worked as an assistant in Nonomura's studio from about 18 months ago.

"It was the night of August 22," she recalls. "I got to my apartment around 11:30 PM, and on my way into my room, I heard this man's voice."

As she trembled with fear, the man stuck duct tape over her mouth and covered her eyes with a mask. He then slapped a pair of handcuffs on her wrists and bound her knees and ankles with ropes. She then overheard him making a telephone call, in which he said, "I've got the woman secured The position of moles on her body match what you told me." He also said, "You've got her parents' house surrounded? Good."

"I've got the woman secured The position of moles on her body match what you told me." Un clásico, me recuerda los dialogos de canciones de At the Drive in... totalmente incoherentes.

"After that, he demanded that I fondle myself, and then suck his thing..., and then he demanded I have sex with him. I didn't do everything he wanted though."

The man's threats to Miss A via telephone and in person continued at the rate of two to three times a week for the next seven months. But one day she noticed that a December 2002 cartoon story entitled "Humiliation" told a tale that matched her own terrifying experiences to a "T."

Primera prueba. We need proof!

Her suspicions hardened and in January of this year she confirmed that Nonomura was her tormentor when she went to bed with him and observed that the penises of the man in the mask and her employer were a perfect match

penis match? Only in Japan. Not in Japan it seems. You need to go undercover.

Welcome to WaiWai.

The Photo post

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Lens.
If you want to flatter your subject, you'll probably want to deemphasize his nose. That means you want to stand at 10 or 15 feet away from him so that his nose isn't significantly closer to you than the rest of his face. However, at such a large distance from the camera, if you want to fill the frame with just your subject's face, then you need a high magnification (i.e., telephoto) lens. Typical "portrait" lenses are therefore between 90 and 135 millimeters long (for 35mm cameras). Many professional fashion photographers use 300mm or 600mm lenses, resorting to using a walkie-talkie or bullhorn to communicate with the model!

photo.net Learn Photography

morguefile :: archive

Number one: Get in close. No, closer. Nope, still closer. There! You've got it!

The first, and most important, rule: Simplify. The more you simplify a photo, the more attention you draw to your subject. The more attention you draw to your subject, the more successful you are in communicating your message to the viewer. There are roughly a million and two ways to do this, so I'll keep it simple and stick to my favorite technique here, and that's to get in as close as possible, thereby eliminating anything in the background that may detract from your subject.

Morguefile :: free stock photos

Ken Rockwell y su ambiciosa pero merecida página "How to do Anything Photographic" tiene desde reseñas de equipo hasta tutoriales diversos.

ejemplo del ISO en fotografía de deportes:

ISO

Use whatever ISO you need with digital cameras. Don't be afraid to pump it up to get shorter shutter speeds and smaller apertures since digital SLRs look great at ISO 400 and 800.

Of course if you're in daylight and have an f/2.8 lens then keep the ISO as low as you can, but if you've got an f/5.6 telephoto zoom crank it up.

Indoors and at night feel free to crank it all the way up, even to ISO 1,600 or 3,200. It's far better to have a sharp, grainy picture than a noiseless soft blurry one. Nikons look fine even at the +1 push setting if you need it and look really nasty at the +2 push setting.

No need for ISO Auto, although feel free to use it and set the shutter speed below which it operates to 1/500 or your slowest desired shutter. The D70's default of 1/30 is obviously too slow for sports. You set these in the menus.

How to Do Anything Photographic 2005 Ken Rockwell

Guía para fotografiar cascadas:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

USE SLOW SHUTTER SPEEDS to create a soft, artistic portrait of water. This is what some call the "Angel Hair" effect. Generally, shutter speeds that are 1/8 of a second and slower will yield the best results. A majority of my waterfall photographs fall between 1/4 second and 3 seconds of exposure. The key here is to dare to experiment and not be afraid to shoot a lot of film. You never know what shutter speed is going to render the waterfall the way you see it in your mind's eye. Needless to say, you'll need your tripod when making these long exposures. One more reason to save your money and buy a good quality, full-featured tripod! I also recommend a cable release or self timer on the camera to reduce the possibility of camera shake. A mirror lock up or bean bags can be handy too. Shutter speeds that are too slow may over emphasize the image's special effects. Be selective and do not overdo the "Angel Hair" effect. Leave the natural beauty in the image to power it to the viewer.

Translation From PR-Speak to English

What is the mission of the combined company?

Adobe’s mission remains the same — to help people and businesses communicate better. With the acquisition of Macromedia, Adobe strengthens its mission through the combination of leading-edge development, authoring and collaboration tools — and the complementary functionality of PDF and Flash.

Where by “complementary” we mean “the two leading technologies that irritate people when they’re used in lieu of regular web pages.” Note that we’re using PDF to serve this very FAQ — in our synergistic future, perhaps we’ll serve our FAQs in a hybrid PDF/Flash format. One can dream.

The idea was simple: Create a pension plan for artists by gathering a collection of their works and gradually selling them off to build a cash account. Over the course of their careers, some artists would succeed wildly; most would fail miserably. By spreading that risk of failure among a large pool of artists, Shniberg figured he could provide financial security to a group of workers unaccustomed to a safety net.

Luis Gispert is one of those early acquisitions. At 32, Gispert pulls in about $100,000 a year from the sale of photographs and sculptures - more than most artists make in a lifetime. He possesses impeccable credentials: A master's degree from Yale's fine arts program and a spot in the 2003 Whitney Biennial, which does for young artists what Sundance does for young film-makers. Later that year, the Whitney awarded him an even more prestigious honor, commissioning an installation for its midtown--Manhattan branch, a small gallery that highlights the work of a single artist. Gispert responded with his most ambitious work to date, a room-sized multi-media piece featuring a 40-foot turntable arm connected to a giant base-ball hat. Though Gispert received a bunch of offers for this work, he chose to transfer ownership to the Artist Pension Trust instead.

It's the first of 20 pieces Gispert will give to the APT. Under the terms of the trust, he's expected to provide nine more works over the next five years, five more during the following five years, and then one every two years until the trust matures in 2024 - for a total of 20 pieces in two decades. What he gets in return is peace of mind. Even if he never sells another work, he'll still receive roughly half a million dollars, paid in regular installments after he turns 63. And if his career continues its upward trajectory, his total payout might exceed $1.5 million. Gispert sees the fund as a hedge against the fickle art market. "My sales right after the Biennial were amazing, but then last year was rough," he says. "The pension provides security that I wouldn't have otherwise."

The Porn Myth - Naomi Wolf

At a benefit the other night, I saw Andrea Dworkin, the anti-porn activist most famous in the eighties for her conviction that opening the floodgates of pornography would lead men to see real women in sexually debased ways. If we did not limit pornography, she argued—before Internet technology made that prospect a technical impossibility—most men would come to objectify women as they objectified porn stars, and treat them accordingly. In a kind of domino theory, she predicted, rape and other kinds of sexual mayhem would surely follow.

She was right about the warning, wrong about the outcome. As she foretold, pornography did breach the dike that separated a marginal, adult, private pursuit from the mainstream public arena. The whole world, post-Internet, did become pornographized. Young men and women are indeed being taught what sex is, how it looks, what its etiquette and expectations are, by pornographic training—and this is having a huge effect on how they interact.

But the effect is not making men into raving beasts. On the contrary: The onslaught of porn is responsible for deadening male libido in relation to real women, and leading men to see fewer and fewer women as “porn-worthy.” Far from having to fend off porn-crazed young men, young women are worrying that as mere flesh and blood, they can scarcely get, let alone hold, their attention.

“For the first time in human history, the images’ power and allure have supplanted that of real naked women. Today, real naked women are just bad porn.”

Mesa police want to add monkey to SWAT team

desarmar bombas?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The Mesa Police Department is looking to add some primal instinct to its SWAT team. And to do that, it's looking to a monkey.

"Everybody laughs about it until they really start thinking about it," said Mesa Officer Sean Truelove, who builds and operates tactical robots for the suburban Phoenix SWAT team. "It would change the way we do business."

Truelove is spearheading the department's request to purchase and train a capuchin monkey, considered the second smartest primate to the chimpanzee. The department is seeking about $100,000 in federal grant money to put the idea to use in Mesa SWAT operations.

Adobe acquires Macromedia

Image hosted by Photobucket.comImage hosted by Photobucket.com
